This blog is a mental playspace for exploring issues relating to the concept of attention. We moved recently from that other blog hosting service, so things are a little rough around the edges.

The two authors have different backgrounds and interests, but have a longstanding fascination with things like attention economy, cognitive functions involving attention, and various forms of media.

Erik Marshall (emarsh) is a film and media scholar and teacher  in Detroit. He maintains the blog A Memorable Fancy.

Rob Weldon (theboredomrules) is a novelist, independent thinker, music guy and Renaissance man based in Los Angeles. He contributes to chopperheadmagazine.com and writes the blog 140critic.
